Wherever possible we are working with small, Yorkshire based suppliers. We want to be sure that all the products we use are ethically and sustainably produced. We aim to help build resilience in our local economy, encourage local talent and showcase the greatness of Yorkshire.
Choc Affair are a British chocolate manufacturer based in York, producing beautiful chocolate treats by hand using natural ingredients, no palm oil, and sustainably sourced cocoa. They are committed to caring for the environment in the decisions that they make, and also do everything they can to enhance the communities around them. Their chocolate is sourced from Colombia, and they are also a part of The Chocolate Dream; a financial investment that supports projects within the Colombian cocoa-growing community that help to build up the community and improve rural areas.
Hi i'm Cat, the founder of Little Green Wood. Like many I have a hectic lifestyle, working in a busy job, renovating a home, trying to keep my mental and physical health in check it's all just... well exhausting if I'm honest!
After having my "argh I'm 30 crisis!" and re-evaluating things I realised that I wasn't quite getting the balance and quality of life I needed. I began searching for ways to manage my stress and health better, to enjoy my passions and the people around me more.
From this Little Green Wood was born. A combination of my passions, healthy living whilst being kind to the planet and my bank balance, because being good to yourself shouldn't cost the earth.
Based in York, North Yorkshire we source and supply the worlds best tea. We have an extensive range of tea which has been sought to appeal to customers who are as enthusiastic about tea as we are. We have a range of over 80 loose leaf tea blends which range from an english breakfast black tea all the way to a caramel rooibos tea. Aside from loose leaf tea, we stock biodegradable pyramid tea bags which are plastic free and packed with our own loose leaf tea blends! If customers aren't sure which teas to choose, we have a tea subscription which is perfect for yourself or as a gift for a friend or loved one.
We believe that small changes can make a big difference, and it's why we started Good Brush - so that we can help reduce plastic pollution one toothbrush at a time. We are an eco-friendlier alternative to the plastic toothbrush, without compromising on style or substance. Brush handles are bio-degradable and, being ergonomically designed, comfortable to hold and use. Our bristles are BPA-free, which does mean that they are not bio-degradable, however once removed from the handle, they are recyclable.
At Good Brush we want to make a difference, to help protect the land and sea for future generations - the leaders of tomorrow. But we also recognise that some people need help now, which is why we also donate one toothbrush for every one sold.
